Audio Guest Book Rental in Northern New Jersey

A vintage phone at your reception that records what people actually want to say. Delivered across Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Morris County — no cross-river surcharge, no setup for you to worry about.

Northern New Jersey does weddings at scale. The ballrooms are big, the guest lists are bigger, and the family element is usually front and centre — three generations in one room, half of them with a story about the couple that has never been written down anywhere.

That is exactly what an audio guest book is for. A vintage phone sits near cocktail hour. Guests pick up the handset, hear a greeting recorded in your voice, and talk after the tone. It takes ninety seconds and no explanation, and it captures the thing a signature in a book never could: your grandfather's accent, your aunt getting choked up, the friend who has been waiting all night to give a speech nobody asked him for.

Serving the whole northern half of the state

We cover Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Morris County — Hoboken and Jersey City with the skyline behind them, the estate and country club venues around Ridgewood and Montclair, the big catering halls through Paramus and Hackensack, and west to Morristown. New Jersey sits inside our standard service radius, so there is no cross-river surcharge. The price you see is the price.

Which phone suits a New Jersey venue

Big ballrooms are the friendliest rooms we work in, and they are where the full-size white British phone booth earns its keep. It needs roughly a four-by-four-foot footprint and one standard outlet, and it gives guests somewhere to step into — which means better recordings and a queue of people photographing it.

The authentic NYC street payphone is the pick for Hoboken and Jersey City venues where the Manhattan skyline is already part of the design. It leans into that city-adjacent look instead of fighting it.

The tabletop vintage phone — a 1950s payphone or classic rotary, black or white, on a skirted cocktail table — fits restaurants, smaller halls, and any room where the layout is already spoken for.

Florals, and why they matter here

More of our New Jersey couples dress the booth than anywhere else we work, and it makes a real difference in photos. We coordinate directly with your florist so garlands, signage, and colour match the rest of your design. Run flowers over the top of the white booth and it stops looking like a rental and starts looking like part of the room. There is no extra charge from us for coordinating it.

How the night runs

  • We arrive early, set up, and test your greeting before the first guest walks in.
  • The phone runs unattended for five hours. No staff, no line management, no interruption to your timeline.
  • The neon “Leave a Message” sign does the explaining, so nobody has to be told what to do.
  • We break down quietly at the end while you are saying goodbyes.
  • Every message arrives afterward as its own digital file.

If your venue asks for a certificate of insurance — most of the larger New Jersey halls and clubs do — we are fully insured and will send it directly to your coordinator.

New Jersey questions

Good questions, quick answers.

Which parts of New Jersey do you cover?

Northern New Jersey: Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Hudson, and Morris County. That covers Hoboken and Jersey City through Montclair, Ridgewood, Paramus, Wayne, and out to Morristown. Delivery and setup are included.

Do you charge extra to cross into New Jersey?

No. Northern New Jersey is inside our standard service radius, so the package price is the same as it is in New York. Tolls and travel are already built in.

Will the booth work at a New Jersey ballroom or catering hall?

Yes. Ballrooms are the easiest rooms we work in. The full-size British booth needs about a four-by-four-foot footprint and one standard outlet, and we coordinate placement with your maitre d' before the day so it does not fight with the cocktail hour flow.

Can we have the booth decorated to match our florals?

Yes, and it is worth doing. We coordinate directly with your florist so garlands and signage match the rest of your design. Many New Jersey couples run florals over the top of the booth, which photographs beautifully.

How many guests can leave a message in five hours?

Realistically, more than will want to. Most messages run under a minute, and guests drift over throughout the night rather than queueing. We have never had a wedding run out of time.
